A PWA fin slalom board, shaped for competition
Racecourses are rarely perfect. Wind builds unevenly, chop stacks up on the reaches, and gybes decide more than straight-line speed ever will. It’s in those moments—fully powered, committed, under pressure—that equipment either fades into the background or demands constant attention.
The RS V6 is designed so it does the former.
Developed for the demands of professional fin slalom racing, it channels decades of design expertise and countless hours on the racecourse. Every line, rail, and contour serves a clear purpose: earlier acceleration, faster carving, and control you can trust when the pace stays high from start to finish.
This is a board built first and foremost for competition—where consistency, precision, and confidence at speed decide results.
Speed That Holds Its Line
The RS V6 delivers speed that remains usable in real racing conditions. A carefully balanced outline, with the widest point moved forward and the tail held wide, keeps the board tracking steadily through gusts and chop.
This stability allows you to stay focused on your racing line, carry speed deeper into the gybe, and commit fully without hesitation—even when conditions are demanding and the margins are small.
Locked-In Control at Full Power
Underfoot, the bottom shape transitions from a mono concave in the nose to a continuous V through the rear. This combination smooths out rough water while keeping the board settled and predictable as speeds increase.
When fully powered, the RS V6 stays composed and locked-in, holding trim and direction even when you’re pressing hard at the limit.
A Connected, Race-Ready Stance
Reduced deck thickness around the footstraps lowers your stance and keeps you closely connected to the board. Foot pressure feels more balanced and direct, helping the front foot stay planted through aggressive reaches and turbulent sections.
Slightly thicker rails in the nose support early planing and add composure when entering tight, high-speed corners, contributing to confident racing lap after lap.
Comfort That Preserves Performance
Every RS V6 integrates Exocet’s double-density shock absorbers beneath the footstraps. These reduce vibration and absorb impact in choppy conditions, helping maintain control and focus during long races and demanding training days.
By limiting fatigue, the board allows you to sail consistently at a high level—when concentration and physical precision matter most.
RS 58 — A Distinct Slalom Character
Within the range, the RS 58 stands apart. Inspired by Exocet’s classic Turboboost 58, it favours a clean outline without tail cutouts, prioritising consistent control over aggressive release.
In high-wind racing and gusty courses, it rewards committed riding with a stable, confidence-inspiring feel when conditions are far from predictable.
Tuned for the Racecourse
Each RS V6 size is tuned for its ideal wind range, giving advanced to expert riders a platform that responds instantly to input—accelerating, carving, and holding steady at speed.
It’s a dedicated fin slalom design for sailors chasing performance where it matters most: on the racecourse.
