Description

The Neon SL is an inflatable freeride windsurfing board designed for beginners and progressing sailors. Stable, easy to handle, and responsive underfoot, it's ideal for learning the basics and developing planing skills. The inflatable construction means it sets up quickly and stores in minimal space—perfect for riders who want practical performance with minimal fuss.

With ample volume and a well-balanced shape, the board helps riders uphaul, find balance, and accelerate with confidence. The centre of gravity is positioned at the front footstraps, promoting a natural stance even in light wind. As the board planes, no foot movement is required—your stance is already in place.

A pintail outline and wide tail section encourage early lift and stable gybes, while sharp PVC rails improve water release, reduce drag, and enhance planing efficiency. The twinzer fin setup assists with early planing and shallow-water use, and a centre fin can be added to improve upwind tracking in light wind.

Comfort and grip are built in. A full directional-groove EVA deck pad provides secure traction, while a traction disc under the baseplate protects the insert and prevents overtightening. Footstrap inserts are included for optional strap use.

The Single Layer (SL) construction is lightweight and cost-efficient, and can be inflated to 15 psi. It comes with an ergonomic backpack that's compatible with the Unifiber Wheel Base.

The Concept

  • Inflatable Freeride Windsurf

    Inflatable Freeride Windsurf

The Neon is shaped to close the performance gap between inflatable and hardboard — removing the barriers of storage and transport while delivering genuine freeride sailing capability.

  • Early Planing

    Early Planing

A twinzer fin setup and pintail outline promote early planing — and the shallow fin configuration means the Neon works even in shallower waters where other setups can't go.

  • Natural Stance

    Natural Stance

With the centre of gravity at the front footstrap inserts, the Neon sits in a natural pre-planing stance — no foot repositioning needed at the transition to planing.

  • Sharp Rails

    Sharp Rails

Long, sharp rails improve waterflow release for planing, provide lateral grip, and make gybing more controlled.

  • HP or SL

    HP or SL

HP: Fusion Composite Dropstitch at 20 psi — stiffer and more responsive. SL: Single Layer at 15 psi — lighter and more cost-efficient.

See It. Ride It. Feel It.
