Foil Range R&D

Foil Range R&D

During the summer of 2019, Damien Le Guen and Patrice Belbeoch followed the R&D sessions of the 2020 windfoil series.

Regarding the foils, they tested the new entry-level model, the "Fusion", an aluminum foil with carbon front wing, as well as Freerace and Race models, foils with carbon masts and wings, and aluminium fuselage.

3 different products, with well-identified types of practices:

-Fusion: an easy foil, player, and nevertheless performing, with a complete panel of options: wings, adapters of boxes, adjustment of the stabilizer ... all at an accessible rate!

-Freerace: A foil made to go fast without asking any questions, with the "classic" navigation: near, drop, cross, ideal also on the new racing formats like slalom foil ... All the elements (fuselage, wings , are compatible with those of the Race).

-Race: A foil developed to be the most efficient on racing race type: Ultra powerful, big performance on the upwind / downwind. A foil without concessions.

All these new foils will be available by the end of the year. Official presentation and rates very soon!

On the boards side, these sessions also validated the new Exocet RF (100/91/81/71). A complete range oriented race and performance, with clearly innovative shape options (length, volume distribution, shape of the bridge ...). Available at the beginning of the year.

Finally on the sails side, the Gold Foil are making their appearance. Outline slim, short boom, powerful, performing at all paces, very stable in the air, these sails will boost your foil sessions if you seek performance in all conditions. Available at the beginning of the year.

Find below the video summarizing how the development sessions are with the feelings of hot Damien.
