Batz Island shooting

Batz Island shooting

This fall, we wanted to make images with beautiful colors, in a particular setting, and not too far from home in Brittany.

The program was to shoot the Exocet flatwater ranges (RS, Cross, Link, RF ...), XO Sails (Gold, Vega, Quad, Shark ... and the new Windsurfer...).

Damien (Le Guen) makes a phone call to Franck Le Ven, and hop, the solution is imposed alone, the session will be on the lagoons of the Ile de Batz, just in front of Roscoff (29).

On the day, go to the farm of Franck (oyster farmer), it is he who will transport the gear in boat.

Arrived on site, the weather is nice, the wind is rising, the tide is still a bit low, it gives us time to enjoy a pancake on the port of the island. The place is just P-E-R-F-E-C-T.

Once this essential step is taken, direction the spot in question to prepare the gear, boards and rigging. Meanwhile, Franck returns to Roscoff to look for our star riders of the day: Faustine Merret (2004 Olympic Windsurfing Champion) and Jérôme Pasquette (RSX Olympic Selection), and then everything comes together: the tide, the rising wind , the sun...

Everyone jumped on his gear, the runs were chained for more than 3 hours, with the bonus at the end of the session a return on camaret in big descent downind in the swell for everyone, before going to enjoy a snack well deserved at Franck.

The result: beautiful images with incredible colors!
