2009 X-Wave 93L sail compatibility |

Anyone know whether the 93L X-Wave works OK with a 6m sail? Specs for 2009 boards are gone from the site now.
I weigh 180lbs if that makes any difference and this would be the step down from a 106 Cross II. I sail that with 7m down to 6m. Looking for a board that will work ok with the 6m but go on down to 4.7m.

Hi Mike,
I have this board since last may in Pro Model construction. Soon I will change my sails quiver to go for 4.7 / 5.3 / 6.2. The board can carry 6.2 (even more) without any problem for wave riding in light winds and bump & jump, so 6.0 is OK too for sure.

YES. 6.0 - 5.0 are very good for me on xwave 93. Waves and b & j. below 5.0 is possible, but I prefer a smaller board then. I am 80 kg (176 lb.)

I went up to 6.2m² but combined it with a 25 cm fin. Works great
