Onshore: the 85. Sideoff: the 95. I tend to want more float on the inside sections and use a smaller sail when sideoff. The wind shadow inside can be gruesome for me in FL. Then outside and on the wave, I get the full measure of breeze.
Both handle any wave size and speed. Slide the fin back a bit for sideshore and steep. Fin forward for onshore. Directions on where to put the fin are on the board.
I'm jealous. At 88 kgs, I use mainly the Phantom 7.4 and 6.8 with the 105! Where is this paradise in which you live? Winter and hurricanes are when I get to use small stuff.

Hi John,
Thanx for your reply.
Don't be jealous, I live in Holland and I use my bigger board also very often!
Ciao!

I don't have all the experience with the Exo waves as John I, but my wave board quiver is now the same as his, Exo Wave 105 & 85.
I experiemented with the Exo 85 last weekend. I was riding a 5.8 and the Cross 117. The wind picked up some, but I did not feel out of control on the 117, so I just put the 5.8 on the Exo 85 and was amazed that I took off planing. I'll admit I was on the bottom end of the Exo 85, but nonetheless, I could plane and stay upwind at my spot. I'm about 89 kg in weight. Just recieved my Exo Wave 105, so now I have that in the mix!
Anyway, I choose the Exo 85 as that will be my high wind board. The Exo 95 had caught my eye, but since I was shooting for a 2 board wave quiver, I knew that the 105 & 85 would be the perfect combo for me.
You probably will not go wrong with either board. Guess it will come down to whether you want to favor the higher or lower wind side of things and what other boards you have in your quiver. I know I can't wait to push the high wind limits of my Exo 85!

Bill, the 75l board would be fine for you - your problem is do you have enough wind an the appropriate sails? 5.5m and down this would be fine. I have 6m to 4.2m sails and 2 boards. 105 Exo Wave for 6m and sometimes 5.2 and then go to 75l board for smaller sails. 4.7 is my most common sail and therefore the smaller board. With lighter winds I wanted a bigger board and the 105 is decievingly easy to sail - planes early, turns well and jibes great. I am 85 kgs and with one board approach an 85l board would be my choice. How much gear do you want and do you sail in waves?

The big question. How much wind do you get to play in?

Oh Jhon thanks for your answer ! (I was off for few days so I read your answer just right now)
Yes !! The 4.7 is my common sail too. So I will probably take the 75l board.
I have an older board (Tiga 80l, 263) and it is good for me !
I want to buy the new 85 or the 75 Exo Wave board.
So I think you have right, I will take the 75l board.
I don't use to ride with "no" wind, so I think I don't need a big boad like 105
for 2nd option board.
I like the waves of course like enyone !
I was between the 85 and the 75 Exo Wave board, because
a friend of mine said that the 85 one is more friendly and you can ride
with it even the wind slow down.
Thanks once again
Bill

Hi Bill,
Perhaps, some of this info will help...
I have the ExoWave 85, 95, & 105 Pro's...
http://www.surfingsports.com/exocet_exowave.asp
http://www.surfingsports.com/cali_july_summer/slides/exocet_wave_boards.html
They are still in perfect shape and I've been riding the bejeezus out of them...
In some of the pics I'm riding a 4.7m2 on the EW 95...
I think you could off the Tiga and get the EW 85...it's good down into 4.0/4.2m2 wind...and will hold a 6.0m2...one-design minimalist board quiver for you...and you could still get the 105 for really light air...optimize the board(s) with fin changes...
