Formula or ... long board ?
Just call it PACER !!!
The PACER’s are unique because they are the only boards on the world windsurfing market able to upwind either on the Dagger board like a former race board, or on the power of the fin,- similar to a Formula board,- thus making it the first only true Hybrid concept on the market.
A few imitations are now on the market but the wide range of the Pacer concept remains supreme. You will already feel the power of the board at 6 knots of wind while sailing on the rail, but also the amazing top end speed potential in 30 knots or more. Check it out with your GPS !!!.

The PACER 300 and PACER 300 PRO are registered in the Race Board class (www.raceboard.org), a class which is no doubt going to be of major size and importance in the very near future.
Why such a concept? Simply because we believe that we had to go back to the very roots of windsurfing, - a sport that historically took off, and was built around its core,- namely easy accessible course racing. We have been analyzing the past and the present, and are proud to finally present the raceboard of the future.
The PACER line is reflecting the philosophy behind the original Windsurfer, but designed and built according to modern standards and demands. The result is instant pleasure in a few knots of wind as well as amazing top end performance despite the considerable volume of 255 liters.
It was a challenging 3 year project, - which most be considered an extensive period of time for a reasonably sized company like EXOCET, - but we are proud of what we have achieved, and the fact that most of the industry has been following this intriguing and innovative concept.
Leading the way, we saw it as increasingly obvious to develop the ultimate high performance, easy accessible board to re-install course racing for all performance levels. Potentially you could line up on the start line with the best in the world just after few months of windsurfing, due the stability and important buoyancy of the Pacer.
The boards are very well equipped with multi position mast track, 80 cm long dagger board and 65 cm fin and 8 super light race foot straps.
The deep V shape in the nose produce a smooth ride upwind as well as assisting the planning ability of a board only 80 cm wide. The V runs all the way to the tail, providing a super easy ride upwind – with excellent stability.
A good portion of “Formula characteristics” are naturally built into the shape –such as tail cut outs, - permitting a fin size of 65 cm and as a result accommodating sail sizes up to 10 square meters or more.
The Pacers plane up in marginal conditions, way below the critical 10 knots, and the tail configuration with cut outs ensure a smooth downwind ride with continuous acceleration.
